Effective leadership development is not built through a single workshop—it is built through a continuous process of learning, feedback, reflection, and practice.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting organizations across Japan in leadership development, organizational development, talent development, coaching, and career development.
As a Certified DiSC® Trainer, Certified CheckPoint360°™ Feedback Provider, and ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), I have come to believe that lasting leadership growth happens when these elements are intentionally connected into one development journey.
Rather than offering standardized solutions, I have worked closely with each client to recommend the most appropriate combination of leadership training, Everything DiSC®, CheckPoint360°™, coaching, career counseling, and organizational development support. I am grateful that many organizations and participants have shared positive feedback about the value these approaches have brought to their people and teams.
Over time, however, one question kept coming back to me.
Could leaders achieve even greater and more sustainable growth if these services were connected as one continuous development journey rather than offered individually?
I believe the answer is yes.
Leadership Growth Is a Process
A training program can inspire people.
Participants often leave with fresh ideas and strong motivation to put them into practice. Yet once they return to the workplace, daily responsibilities can quickly take over, and those valuable insights may gradually fade.
Throughout my work with managers and emerging leaders, I have also seen how powerful self-awareness can be.
Many leaders discover strengths—and blind spots—they had never recognized until they receive structured feedback from others. Others realize that how they see themselves differs from how colleagues experience their leadership.
These moments of insight often become the starting point for meaningful growth.
That is why I believe leadership development should never be viewed as a single event.
Real growth comes from a continuous cycle of increasing self-awareness, applying new behaviors, receiving feedback, reflecting on experiences, and taking the next step forward.
From Individual Services to One Development Journey
This belief has inspired me to develop a new Leadership Development Program that brings together the approaches I have successfully used over many years into one integrated learning experience.
The program combines:
- Everything DiSC® to deepen self-awareness and strengthen communication
- CheckPoint360°™ to provide multi-rater feedback and identify leadership strengths and development opportunities
- Two interactive leadership workshops
- Individual career development sessions conducted one-on-one
- Optional feedback sessions with participants’ managers to reinforce learning back in the workplace
Rather than delivering isolated training events, my goal is to support the entire process of leadership growth.
Beginning with Women’s Leadership Development
Although my long-term vision is to support leaders regardless of gender, I have chosen to begin this initiative with a Women’s Leadership Development Program.
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with corporations, universities, and local governments to support women’s career advancement and leadership development. These experiences have strengthened my belief that women leaders benefit tremendously from learning alongside peers from different organizations.
Cross-company learning provides not only fresh perspectives and practical insights, but also opportunities to build meaningful professional networks. I hope participants will leave with greater confidence, lasting connections, and a broader community that continues to support their leadership journey long after the program ends.
Looking Ahead
I believe people have an incredible capacity to grow.
When leaders develop a deeper understanding of themselves, receive honest feedback, reflect on their experiences, and intentionally practice new behaviors, they become more confident, more effective, and better able to create positive change within their organizations.
Leadership development is not a single event.
It is an ongoing journey.
Supporting that journey is not simply the service I provide—it is the work I am genuinely passionate about.
